The Belgrade-Nis railway will be completely finished by 2027, and until then we will go in sections, so it will take 20 minutes to reach Velika Plana, said today the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, who emphasized that the Prokop station building will be completed by 20 October – Belgrade Liberation Day.
“In four years, here we are in an hour and a half from Belgrade to Niš,” the President of Serbia told reporters after the signing of the contract for the first tranche of the investment grant for the construction of the Belgrade-Niš high-speed railway as part of the financial package for railway Corridor 10. “Station building will be completed by October 20.

“It will be a difficult game, we have to see what is best for us, but I think it is difficult than any of the Europeans can give better conditions”, said the president and emphasized that the EU aid of 610 million is a huge help for Serbia.
