Serbia to cooperate with Russia, US, China, PfP

 

Minister of Defence Dragan Sutanovac said yesterday that cooperation in the field of defence policy with Russia should be strengtened and that Serbia should take the maximum use of the benefits derived from its status of a member of the Partnership for Peace (PfP) programme.

Sutanovac pointed out that we need to contonue fostering a high level of friendly relations and implement strategic interests with our most important partners include the United States and China.

He said that Ministry intends to participate in multinational operations of the EU, and stressed the importance of European integration and regional cooperation.

The Minister pointed out that the defence system of Serbia has a lot to offer to its partners and friendly countries in terms of education, training and military-technical cooperation, adding that this is confirmed by the increased interest in our military-industrial complex.
