Serbia sees 142,500 foreign tourists in January, led by visitors from North Macedonia and Russia

In January, Serbia saw a significant influx of foreign tourists, with a total of 142,500 visitors, according to the latest data from the Republic Institute of Statistics. The largest group of tourists came from North Macedonia, with 15,002 individuals visiting the country.

Following closely were tourists from Russia, with 13,753 visitors, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, which recorded 11,669 visitors. Montenegro and Turkey also made a notable contribution, with 11,537 and 10,652 visitors, respectively.

The trend of an increasing number of tourists from China continued, with 10,136 Chinese visitors coming to Serbia in January. This strong performance highlights Serbia’s growing appeal as a tourist destination across various international markets.
