Serbia’s ICT exports surge 20.5% in first five months of the year

In a notable development for Serbia’s economy, the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications reported today that the export of ICT products and services saw a substantial increase of 20.5% during the first five months of this year compared to the same period last year.

The ICT sector‘s export performance reached €1.61 billion in the first five months of this year, up from €1.34 billion in the same period last year. This growth underscores the continued strength and expansion of Serbia’s ICT industry, which remains a vital component of the nation’s economic development strategy.

The Ministry expressed its commitment to sustaining this positive trend and promised to continue its focused efforts on advancing the ICT sector. They highlighted that the sector plays a crucial role in the overall economic progress of Serbia and affirmed their dedication to supporting its continued growth.
