Serbia’s interest is to restart the growth of industrial production and GDP-Dacic

 

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic said that employers, unions and public authorities have a joint commitment to create a state that will be successful and free to operate and where social justice will rule.

Delivering awards at the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce (PKB) “Belgrade Winner” Dacic said it is time for the Serbian economy is re-oriented to the development model based on production and export of goods.

Our interest is to restart the growth of industrial production and gross domestic product (GDP), stopping and reducing unemployment, increasing inflow of foreign investment and reducing fiscal deficit, said the Deputy Prime Minister.

The awards “Businessman of the Year” and “Business Woman of the Year” for the results achieved in economy were handed to the Director of Telekom Srbija Branko Radujko and Director of Ringier Axel Springer Jelena Petrovic Drakulic.

The annual award for the results achieved in the economy were awarded to Komercijalna Banka, Coca-Cola HBC Serbia, Tetrapak Production, PTT Srbija, Business Facilities and Kopernikus Technology Group.

A “Plaque” for improving business environment were awarded to the Parking Service, Managing Director of Dunav from Grocka Petar Stojanovic and editor and host of SAT and president of SAT Media Group Mirko Alvirovic.

The 27th PKB award ceremony was attended by a large number of domestic and foreign businessmen, representatives of the republic and the city government, and representatives of the diplomatic corps in Belgrade.
