Serbia’s Novi Sad Heating Plant plans construction of a biomass boiler plant

 

Public Utility Company “Novi Sad Heating Plant” intends using the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development  for a project to finance (i) modernisation of the primary and secondary substations in the City of Novi Sad; (ii) construction of a biomass boiler plant; and (iii) Installation of thermostatic radiator valves and heat cost allocators in approximately 2000 flats. The proposed project, which has a total estimated cost of EUR 21 million equivalent, will require the procurement of the following goods, works and services:

• Supply and installation of indirect substations;
• Supply and installation of pellets boiler plant;
• Supply and installation of heat cost allocators and thermostatic radiator valves.

Tendering for the above contracts is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2011.
