Serbia’s vehicle market sees strong growth in Q1 2024

Sales of passenger and light commercial vehicles rose by over 20 percent compared to the same period last year, with a total of 7,493 vehicles sold in the first three months of 2024.

The top-selling brands for passenger vehicles include Škoda, Toyota, and Volkswagen, while Citroen leads in light commercial vehicles. Luxury vehicle sales remain strong, with BMW, Mercedes, and Audi among the favorites. Gasoline-powered vehicles still dominate the market, although sales of hybrids and electric vehicles have seen significant growth compared to last year.

Diesel vehicles maintain a notable market share, while electric-only vehicles are also making an appearance, albeit with a smaller market presence.
