SME HUB program empowers Serbian small businesses with strategic partnerships and revenue growth

Five new SMEs have joined the SME HUB program, unlocking opportunities for strategic partnerships with large companies and expanding their market reach. The program is expected to increase their revenue by over 35% in the coming period.

SME HUB connects small and medium-sized enterprises with large companies to support business transformation and enhance competitiveness. In its second year, the program continues to grow, with five new companies entering the transformation process, spanning industries like cosmetics, food production, aluminum and PVC carpentry, blinds manufacturing, and IT sales. These collaborations will help them access new markets and develop innovative products.

The total value of the transformations for these companies is approximately 600,000 Swiss francs, covering services such as management, finance, ERP, legal, and HR support. Following this assistance, the companies are projected to see significant growth.

The initiative has already proven successful, as shown by the first year’s nine companies, which saw a combined transformation value of 550,000 Swiss francs. SME HUB aims to continue expanding its network and supporting Serbian businesses, ultimately fostering long-term growth and strengthening the Serbian economy.

The program is a partnership between the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and ICT HUB, aimed at boosting the capacities and competitiveness of domestic companies.
