JP “Srbijagas” and the Greek company “DEPA” signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Belgrade, Srbijagas announced.
As stated, the goal of this Memorandum is to strengthen cooperation and achieve security of natural gas supply in the markets of the two countries.
That document establishes the framework for the future cooperation of these two companies in the field of supply, i.e. purchase and sale of natural gas, optimization of the use of transport capacities and the possibility of using the capacity of the LNG terminal in Greece, as well as in terms of natural gas storage and future capital investments in this area, they stated from Srbijagas.
The memorandum was signed by the general director of JP “Srbijagas” DuÅ¡an Bajatović and the general director of the Greek company “DEPA” Konstantinos Xifaras.
DEPA is a company majority owned by the state of Greece and is an importer of natural gas in gaseous and liquid form into the Greek pipeline system, including the LNG terminal.
