Telecom Austria for Telekom Serbia high price tag

Telekom Austria expressed regret that the Serbian government had refused its fresh bid to buy a majority stake in the country’s domestic operator but said the offer would remain valid for three months, according to Reuters.

Telekom Austria reiterated on Friday that the asking price for Telekom Serbia, of at least 1.4 billion euros ($2.03 billion) was too high and “economically not realizable” for the group.
