Telekom Srbija group expands into Germany: Launches MTEL branches in Mönchengladbach and Dusseldorf

Telekom Srbija Group, a leading telecommunications company in Southeast Europe, is expanding its presence in Europe. During a ceremony to mark the opening of new branches in Mönchengladbach and Dusseldorf, CEO Vladimir Lučić of Telekom Srbija and CEO Stefan Božić of MTEL Germany inaugurated a new sales point for MTEL Germany, signaling a significant step in their business expansion into major European markets.

At these newly opened sales points, MTEL Germany offers unique mobile telephony (both prepaid and postpaid) and television services tailored to meet the diverse needs of modern users. The services are competitively priced and come with special benefits.

Vladimir Lučić, CEO of Telekom Srbija, emphasized the strategic importance of entering the German market, especially considering the significant diaspora from the former Yugoslavia residing in Germany. He expressed high expectations for the German market, citing the quality of services offered to users and acknowledging the partnership with Vodafone, which enabled the expansion. Lučić invited interested individuals to visit their branches, experience the quality of services firsthand, and become customers.

Tanja Richter, Technical Director of Vodafone, expressed enthusiasm for the cooperation, highlighting the benefits for MTEL users, including access to high-speed mobile internet and extensive network coverage.

MTEL Germany’s offerings cater to users of Balkan origin living and working in Germany, providing German-quality services along with benefits that foster closer connections with their homeland. Notably, users retain their existing phone numbers, and MTEL’s unique zone allows free calls within MTEL networks in various countries.

Stefan Božić, General Manager of MTEL Germany, underscored the quality and diversity of their television content, featuring popular channels from the former Yugoslavia, sports programming, and appealing series and films in a familiar language. Božić also highlighted the convenience of customer support in their users’ language, facilitating communication for many customers.
