The 32nd Kopaonik Business Forum to focus on Serbia’s economic future with over 200 experts expected

The 32nd Kopaonik Business Forum will take place from March 2 to 5 in Kopaonik, gathering more than 200 speakers. The central theme will be “Serbia 2027 – Striving for an Economy with High Returns.” The forum will see around 1,600 participants, including members of the academic community, business leaders, political figures, representatives from the international financial sector and diplomats. The event will feature 38 panel discussions, three plenary sessions, and three special interviews.

Aleksandar Vlahović, President of the Association of Economists of Serbia, shared details at a press conference, announcing that the specialized world exhibition “EXPO 2027” will be presented on the first day of the forum.

On the first day, discussions will include economic forecasts for the Western Balkans, the results of Serbia’s economic policies, and the presentation of this year’s Corporate Reputation Index. There will also be a focus on the role of women in addressing climate change, the Digital Serbia initiative, and a conversation with Mk Grupa president, Aleksandar Kostić.

The second day will feature addresses by the Governor of the National Bank of Serbia, Jorgovanka Tabaković, and the Minister of Finance, Siniša Mali. Panels will cover topics such as the impact of wars and trade conflicts on Europe and the Western Balkans, as well as artificial intelligence, labor market issues, and regional economic cooperation. The day will conclude with a panel on green energy transition, alongside an interview with Ge Yun, CEO of Tojoy Group.

The third day will include discussions on the reform of Serbia’s Tax Administration, global income distribution, and political implications, as well as trends in logistics, financial markets, and public service efficiency. A special panel will focus on refugee integration and its economic potential, with another on the “Jadar” project.

The forum will conclude with panels on youth, modern endowment, the impact of generative artificial intelligence on Generation Z and Alpha, and healthcare. The event will also feature an interview with Serbian national basketball team coach Svetislav Pešić on building successful teams.
