The development of the IT sector continues – Bosch has established an Engineering Center in Serbia

As part of the global network of engineering centers, Bosch recently established an engineering center in Serbia where around 50 software and hardware engineers are currently working on various innovative projects focused on the development of software solutions for mobility.

The vision of the Engineering Center is to shape a new era of mobility through integrated solutions that are safe and sustainable, with the ultimate goal of developing technologies that make driving safer.

The focus of the Engineering Center is the development of software solutions in the field of connected technologies used in the automotive industry, e.g. in software defined vehicles (Software Define Vehicle), navigation, autonomous driving, infotainment systems for drivers, etc. The Engineering Center’s portfolio currently includes the development of mobile applications, embedded software and cloud platforms, as well as DevOps and customer support.

“The development of the Bosch IT sector in Serbia, which we started in 2015, is now continuing with the establishment of an engineering center as a partner for new solutions in the automotive industry within the Bosch Mobility sector, but also beyond. With a great team of talented engineers who work closely with other Bosch locations and customers from all over the world, from Belgrade we will contribute to the development of products and services in the fields of autonomous driving, electric mobility and IoT,” said Jovanka Jovanović, CEO and representative of the Bosch Group in Serbia.

When it comes to the competences of the employees in the Engineering Center, their range includes software engineering, Quality Assurance, project management, while the profiles they employ, depending on the projects and teams, are: iOS/Android Developer, BackEnd Cloud Developer, C/C++ developer, Speech Software Developer, Web Developer, DevOps Engineer, Machine Learning Specialist, Test Automation Engineer, Operation and Support Engineer, Scrum Master, Product Owner etc.

With the establishment of the Engineering Center, the Bosch IT sector in Serbia, which currently employs more than 400 IT experts and professionals, is expanding further.
