After over two and a half years of meticulous restoration, the iconic Hotel Bristol has reopened as The Bristol Belgrade, blending its rich historical legacy with modern amenities. Situated in the heart of Belgrade, this architectural landmark, renowned as a symbol of the city, reclaims its place as a central hub for meetings, inspiration, and luxury service.
Originally designed by the famed architect Nikola Nestorović and built between 1910 and 1912, Hotel Bristol has long been an emblem of Belgrade’s cultural and architectural heritage. It has hosted numerous distinguished personalities, such as John and David Rockefeller, Josip Broz Tito, chess grandmaster Garry Kasparov and writer Moma Kapor.
Thanks to a comprehensive restoration involving the expertise of 16 artists—sculptors, painters and woodcarvers—along with cooperation from the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments and the Belgrade Waterfront company, the hotel has preserved its original architectural charm while integrating modern features. This restoration marks a new chapter for this grand building.
At The Bristol Belgrade, gastronomy takes center stage. The hotel’s dining offerings blend local flavors with global cuisine, using carefully sourced ingredients and innovative recipes to create an unforgettable culinary experience. The Dining Room restaurant combines tradition with contemporary culinary techniques, making each meal an event for all the senses. Guests can also indulge in a unique Afternoon Tea Experience, served in The Courtyard, the hotel’s atrium surrounded by lush greenery—perfect for enjoying morning coffee. For those seeking relaxation, The Library, a cozy space with a fireplace and an impressive collection of books, promises to become a favorite spot for guests.
Wellness enthusiasts will find sanctuary in the hotel’s spa center, designed as an oasis of relaxation. Facilities include a traditional Finnish sauna, Bio Sauna (more energy-efficient with lower temperature and higher humidity), a steam bath, sensory showers with water heat, light, and aromatherapy, and a full range of face and body treatments. Those wanting to maintain an active lifestyle can enjoy the state-of-the-art gym, perfect for daily workouts.
With its reimagined vision, The Bristol Belgrade aims to establish a new exclusive hotel chain, starting with this extraordinary location in Belgrade. To celebrate its reopening, the hotel is offering special early booking discounts until the end of March.
