The plan is to develop the Pannonian Corridor project in order to strengthen the transmission system of Serbia and Hungary

The development of the Pannonian Corridor project is planned, with the aim of strengthening the capacities and connectivity between the transmission system of our two countries, said the Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Đedović during a conversation with the Hungarian Ambassador to Serbia, Jožef Magyar, about cooperation between the two countries in the field of energy on the website of the ministry.

As Đedović added, in the field of energy, we can only upgrade and deepen this cooperation, especially in the oil and gas and renewable energy sources sector, and “there are opportunities for other joint projects”.

According to the minister, one of the important results of bilateral cooperation is the extension of the contract for gas storage for Serbia’s needs in Hungary for another year.
