Vanackere: Belgium will continue to support Serbia on its EU course

Belgian Foreign Minister Steven Vanackere announced in Belgrade Belgium’s further support to Serbia on its EU integration course and welcomed the investment  of the Belgian company Deleuze in Serbia worth more than 1 billion euros. After talks with Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic, Vanackere said that Belgium is very pleased with the fact that during its EU presidency, the opinion on Serbia’s candidacy was submitted  to the European Commission and added that future steps regarding Serbia’s European course were discussed. Jeremic stated that special attention was paid to regional cooperation as one of key conditions for European integration.
