Wine Vision by Open Balkan: Belgrade to host regional wine and spirits expo for the third year

From November 22 to 24, Belgrade will host the third edition of Wine Vision by Open Balkan, the largest gathering of wine lovers, distillers and gastronomic professionals in the region. The event, held at the Belgrade Fair, celebrates the rich heritage of the Balkans while creating business connections between producers, distributors, and professional buyers from across the globe.

The first day of the event, November 22, will be dedicated to industry professionals, with a focus on B2B meetings, workshops and presentations. This will offer winemakers, distillers and food producers an ideal platform to showcase their products and establish new business relationships.

Through the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, a digital platform, B2 Match, has been created to schedule B2B meetings. So far, distributors and professional buyers from over 48 countries have confirmed their participation. This highlights the international nature of the Wine Vision fair and the export potential of Serbia’s wine, rakija, and broader distilling industries.

The majority of distributors and professional buyers are coming from the United Kingdom, the USA, China, Austria, Switzerland, Russia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as a significant number from African countries, Australia and Brazil. Although the final number of B2B meetings has yet to be determined, it has already surpassed last year’s total of over 2,000 meetings. The Serbian Chamber of Commerce points out that these numbers only include meetings arranged through the B2 Match platform, and the overall number will likely be much higher, as meetings will also take place at the exhibitors’ stands.

This year’s B2B meetings reflect the overall growth of Wine Vision, which continues to expand its reach. The event will feature over 650 exhibitors from 38 countries, further solidifying its position as one of the leading wine events in Europe.

The fair will be open to visitors on November 23 and 24, offering a rich program of activities. Tickets can be purchased at the Belgrade Fair box office between 10 AM and 8 PM. A single-day ticket costs 1,000 RSD, while group tickets for 20 or more visitors are priced at 700 RSD per person.
