Yura Shin won to begin production in Nis this fall

 

The South Korean company Yura Shin Won will start production in Nis in September, the deputy director of the company, Seung Kil Park, announced on April 5.

On April 5, he signed an agreement with Nis Mayor Milos Simonovic on free access to land in the Donje Medjurovo business zone where the construction of the new Yura factory should begin this month.

Yura Shin Won produces cables for the automobile industry and will employ 300 workers in its Nis factory and invest EUR8 million.

Yura Shin Won has already built one factory, which also produces parts for the automobile industry, in the Donje Medjurovo zone.

“Yura’s entire production chain will be self-sufficient in Serbia because our company will purchase copper from local producers,” said Kil Park.
