Serbia, Bulgaria signed Protocol on economic cooperation

Serbian Minister of Trade and Services Slobodan Milosavljevic yesterday signed a final protocol of the first session of the Inter-governmental Committee for Economic Cooperation with Bulgarian Minister of Transport, IT and Communications Alexander Cvetkov.

The protocol, signed as part of the Bulgaria-Serbia Business Forum, comprises guidelines for the development of trade, cooperation between SMEs and sectoral chambers and chambers of commerce, and for organizing business forums, the Bulgarian Minister of Transport, IT and Communications announced.

The two sides also talked about construction of a gas pipeline between Bulgaria and Serbia, the South Stream gas pipeline project, and the possibility of Serbia’s participation in the Belene nuclear plant project.
