– MK Group is one of a few Serbian companies which invest abroad. It is an honour to be ranked among the most successful companies and businesspeople in Ukraine, those who represent the generating force of the growth of Ukrainian agriculture. This is another form of stimulation and another motivation for Agro Invest Ukraine to continue implementing the business philosophy of MK Group in Ukraine. Following successful operations in the largest wheat producer in Europe, Ukraine, we plan to invest in similar projects in Russia and Belarus – says Željko Erceg, CEO of Agro Invest Ukraine.

MK Group currently cultivates around 30,000 hectares of land in the area of Kiev, Vinnica, Cherkassy and Poltava in Ukraine and has so far invested EUR35 million in the acquisition of agricultural companies, modern agribusiness machines and complementary equipment and working capital, as well as in the construction of one of the largest silo complexes in Ukraine (120,000 tons), in cooperation with the EBRD. The concept of further business expansion in Ukraine is based on spreading the land complex to more than 100,000 hectares and development of logistics through a network of silos and own transportation. In addition, it is planned to construct capacities for maize processing to starch and starch products.
