The seventh regional conference “Environment for Europe- EnE11” will be held in Belgrade on June 7-8, as part of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) for the marking of World Environment Day (WED).

The seventh regional conference “Environment for Europe- EnE11” will be held in Belgrade on June 7-8, as part of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) for the marking of World Environment Day (WED).

The conference is traditionally organized by Environmental Ambassadors and Serbian Chamber of Commerce. The manifestation has been backed by the Serbian Ministry of Agriculture, Trade, Forestry and Water Management, Ministry of Environment, Mining and Spatial Planning, Institute for Nature Conservation of Serbia, Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Belgrade, private university Educons, EPTISA Regional Office for South-East Europe, Concern Bambi Banat and Strauss Adriatic.

The goal of this conference is to promote the concept of sustainable development, exchange of experiences and knowledge at the local, regional and international level.

The seventh regional conference “Environment for Europe- EnE11” will specifically focus on rural and sustainable mountain development, and will provide educational and partner institutions with an opportunity to present their researches and exchange views and experiences on the rural development, as well as sustainable mountain development, the release reads.
