Foreign investor in gas network

 

The companies of Petrol and Srbijagas both signed a letter supporting business cooperation on the occasion of the formal commissioning of the gas pipeline in Pecinci. 

The agreement regarding the gas pipeline system that will supply the business zone of Simanovci and populated places in Pecinci, was put into action in Pecinci. Overall investment in the pipeline is worth five million euros. The high-pressure pipeline which length of 11 kilometers and has a capacity of 25,000 Sm3/hour was made according to the latest European standards, including remote control facilities.

On this occasion, Petrol and Srbijagas signed a letter of business cooperation, establishing a future partnership in supplying natural gas in Serbia and beyond. This is also a further expansion of Petrol’s businesses, solely owned by Petrol Gas Group – within the area of South-eastern Europe.

Petrol is the first foreign company to invest their own capital in the construction of the gas pipeline system in Serbia, while the distribution of gas will be taken over by Rodgas a.d., which is 85 percent owned by Slovenian company Petrol.
