Kanjiza plans construction of sports and recreation center on 9.69 ha

Citizens of Kanjiza are going to get a modern sports and recreation center, which will be built in vicinity of the existing football stadium, and the municipality has entrusted the preparation of a preliminary solution with the Kvent company.

According to the plan, the future complex will span 9.69 ha and it will be situated between the streets Zeleni Venac and Nusiceva. On that area, next to the existing football stadium with stands and auxiliary facilities, a sports hall at 3,000 square meters and an athletic track will be built. The existing residential facility with all accompanying facilities will be placed at the disposal of the football club.

The future center will also comprise outdoor sports courts, an auxiliary football field, four tennis courts, a universal field for mini sports, as well as courts for handball, basketball and volleyball with all accompanying facilities.

The complex will also include a square, pedestrian areas and unpaved surfaces. There will also be a tourist and catering facility.
