Science and Technology Park Novi Sad partners with Serbian IT Association to boost IT community

The Science and Technology Park Novi Sad (NTP NS) and the Serbian IT Association have signed a Memorandum on Business and Technical Cooperation. This agreement, announced on Science Day, aims to enhance the IT community through collaborative projects and activities.

Nebojša Drakulić, Director of NTP NS, highlighted the significance of signing the memorandum during the celebration of Science Day, emphasizing the importance of gaining a reliable partner for upcoming IT community improvement initiatives.

Marko Vučetić, Director of the Serbian IT Association, expressed pleasure that the association’s first Memorandum on business and technical cooperation was signed with NTP NS. He noted that the partnership would facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experiences between members of both organizations, focusing on the development of the Serbian IT scene, regulatory improvements, and fostering good relations with the Serbian government.

The memorandum will enable joint efforts in innovation development, applications for national and international projects, market research, educational programs, and conferences. It will also promote knowledge exchange and strengthen the IT sector.

Marina Varzar, Director of DataArt Serbia and board member of the Serbian IT Association, emphasized the importance of having talented individuals in the right environment. She praised NTP NS for being such a place and for its recognized expertise in AI, making the collaboration a natural fit for advancing both IT and non-IT companies.
